How to Send Amazon.ca Giftcards (Even If You’re Not Canadian)

I have decided to stop accepting Amazon.com giftcards. The shipping & import fees from Amazon.com to Canada are absolutely atrocious, and I am traveling to the US less frequently these days.

For those of you who were sending tributes and/or payments via Amazon.com GC, don’t worry. One thing many of my subs don’t seem to know, is that you do not need to be Canadian to use Amazon.ca. You do not even need to make a new Amazon.ca account. As long as you have an Amazon account (in ANY country: .com, .co.uk, .com.au, etc.), you’re already good to go. All you have to do is follow the instructions down below:

1. Go to Amazon.ca

2. Login using the same email address and password you use for Amazon.com (or Amazon.co.uk, etc.)

3. Go to the “Gift Cards” section (there’s a link under the Amazon search bar) and then click on eGift, or access it directly through this link.

3a. If you are sending tribute, select the amount you wish to send, and send it to giftcards@missfaithrae.com with the message left blank.

3b. If you are sending a payment, I will confirm the amount you need to send in CAD based on the current exchange rate.

That’s it! As long as you have an Amazon account in one country, you can access Amazon sites in other countries, too.

Say thank you for the lesson by sending
